TERMS OF REFERENCES OF ENGINEERING DIRECTORATE (TOR’s)

The Engineering Directorate is a part of main component of the Authority and functioning for the following activities:

1.    Maintenance  of Engineering Works

The maintenance of Major Parks, green belts Round abouts of Lahore city consisting boundary wall with fence, Hard Landscaping, Irrigation system and parks light system and also maintain Garden / Park Fixtures like Sitting Bench, Dust bin, Tree guard, Fountain, Waterfall, Gazebo, Children play items, Fitness units, Public Toilets and drinking water etc. these maintenance works are taken up on field report from Horticulture staff after obtaining approval of Competent Authority.

2.    Development Works

The Development of new Parks and Sports Facilities are taken up according to approved Scheme Plan and Hard Landscaping of the designated area of the Authority after obtaining Approval from Competent Authority.

3.    Up Gradation of Parks

On the direction / approval of the Competent Authority the up gradation of Greenbelt, Park and Roundabout consisting of Civil Work, Sports Facilities, Irrigation System, Light System and Fountain ,etc, are dealing after obtaining approval of the Authority.

4.    Operations

Irrigation and Fountain / Lights systems, are to be maintained through Technical Staff including follow up the Payments of  WAPDA / LESCO and WASA bills.

5.    Enlistment of Firms

All Contractors are Enlisted through Engineering Directorate and also Pre-qualification’s of Firms for Technical Works as per laid down criteria issued by Government of the Punjab.
